Water in "spurts"?

Hey guys, This happened last winter as well, so I assume it's something in this place. Last year we had little-to-no heat, but this year we go our propane tanks filled all the way up, so it's nothing freezing... Anyway.... Within the past month and a half, my water has been coming out in spurts. Abou...

Re: Bought a preowner mh - Subfloor questions

My only thing like that, is that the hallway is just 32" wide, probably about 10' long I want to replace--then the brown wall, then the rest of the floor.. The wall seems to be blocking one of the joists that it's on, so I don't know... would I just like, peel back the carpet and then take a ji...

Re: Bought a preowner mh with a lot of problems...

Yeah, that didn't work... I went down to Ace Hardware and got an elbow joint thing and replaced what was on there and it now all seems fixed good. :) Only plumbing-related issue is the toilet... It now seems like it's always "running". I replaced the stopper/flapper in the tank because the...

Bought a preowner mh - Subfloor questions

Another quick update. Hot water tank now seems fine. (Yay). Had an electrician come out and now we mostly have electric (Yay!). BUT... the fuse/power box is uhm... for lack of a better term... screwed. Electrician said he probably should not have even turned it back on. Half the outlets in the house...

Re: Bought a preowner mh with a lot of problems...

Hey guys, thought I would update on my interesting journey. I recently had the water turned on and there was no leaks! ... So I thought. I had a weird feeling so I took off the door to theot water tank and there was a leak in one of the pipes going from the top to the hose that goes to the bottom. I...

Re: Bought a preowner mh with a lot of problems...

Okay, I understand. But for now I'd like to move in and fix it up while living there. So by basic Googling,I found http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51oRv%2BuU5QL._AA300_.jpg Does that sound right? Our outside box actually is two buildings down and is ran underground. But on that plug,it seems l...

Re: Bought a preowner mh with a lot of problems...

Haha, I'll check it out! Okay, I'll be sure to take a look once I get a ladder. Video!? Nice! :) lol Yeah, there are a few soft spots... one that's bad. Not sure how I want to fix that yet. Kind of thinking about going underneath and putting a small piece of plywood up there... Yes, actually! :) I l...

Re: Bought a preowner mh with a lot of problems...

Hey guys. :) I do want to eventually go that far and replace everything, especially since we have no furnance. But I'm not making that kind of money yet to do that stuff . :( That's a very nice blog. :) The drywall may become a winner being so much cheaper and you can do more with it. I'm just going...

Bought a preowner mh with a lot of problems...

Hi, First time (young and stupid) mh buyer. I bought an 1972 Sheffield Mobile Home 16*60 home a couple of weeks ago to move into. It doesn't have a furnace (I'm not worried about that yet), which I knew about.I also knew electricity was pulled out of the walls by the previous occupants (eviction). I...
