Mark;
Is there a way you or Steve can list any new features in a post so we don't have to wonder or search for them?

RE: blu-ray or HD
Fellas, I've still got my first RCA VHS machine, still works. The first 120 VHS tape I bought cost $37.
As for the new formats only time will tell. Anyone remember the library scene in The Time Machine and the "Talking" rings?

RE: tv antenna
All my TV and CB antennas have been attached with clamps, but only to the sides of my mobile. I use 20' "pop-ups". (a galv. pole within a pole). Just be sure and caulk the clamp holes and attach a grounding pipe into the ground. I also used to turn the pipe to aim the TV antenna, much easi...

RE: floor repair
On checking I see "coolerman" made a "floor repair 101" site with a pretty darn good explanation back in Aug. of 2005.
http://www.globalsoftware-inc.com/coole ... Repair.htm
Others were Lane & Dana and Mark did a door area repair also back in july 2005.

Yanita; I thought Maureen said she had saved all the pictures from the positudes site.
Irjester; do you remember the name of the person who did the floor repairs? I have saved many project pages by names of posters. Perhaps I can send you some of the floor repair ones.

RE: Water overflowing drain pipe when washer empties.
I recently had a tub drain plug up, tried the usual methods, plunger, industrial Drano, etc. Nothing worked, just made soap scum and bath oil buildup back up into the tub. I finally resorted to my tried and true method. I disconnected the cold washer line and hooked up a garden hose with a sprayer a...

RE: Hey Manitoba Bill
Thanks, alright so far. These tornadoes seem to be moving northward, I wonder why? Even though it missed me this time, it sadly did destroy peoples homes. Some golf-ball size hail just to the south of me on sat. Luckily no one was badly injured. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/manitoba/story/2007/06/24/man...

Yanita; I can see the outer bands of the storm headed for you on the east coast. This is the first thing I look at every morning. Click on your state, then again for a closer look. There are links for Hurricanes also on AccuWeather. http://wwwa.accuweather.com/maps-satellite.asp?partner=netweather&a...

Re: RE: Alberta
So, all in all our prices in Canada are about the same as the U.S. You pay by the gallon and we pay by the litre. Still outrageous! With the increased cost of EVERYTHING, I really don't know how anyone on a fixed income can survive with bills, food and to do any fix-ups. If you multiply $1.25 per L...

RE: Alberta
LOL Another Urban Myth started. As for #9, no way are they suffering from gas prices! Wpg.-1.19 Vancouver- 1.27 Edmonton - 1.21 Also Alberta is the oil capital of Canada and Canadians, and some Americans pour our gas money into Alberta's oil barons. And no provincial sales tax like Manitoba's 7%.
