I would not recommend doing any kind of "quicky" fix up over shingles. If they need replacing, painting anything over them is only going to make it harder to remove them when it fails again.

ICI may be a Canadian brand, available at Colour your world stores....terrible stuff!

As in the photo album, pick a day with good weather, do 1/2 the roof and get the Grace down, the next day, do the other side, third day, shingle. At the point you have the Grace down, it is waterproof. The shingles are decoration and keep the UV off the Grace.

We bought a Kenmore stacked set. It replaced a 30+ yr old Kenmore set. We like it, but Sears service isn't what it used to be.

I liked Behr from HD. Hated ICI paint, it was like water and ran no matter how you applied it.

If you are re shingling the whole roof, use Grace brand Ice/water shield over the whole roof first. This is how I did mine. The Grace brand is more expensive, but is the best. You can astually put a nail through it, remove the nail, and the hole will seal. See my album pics for my roofing job. Jim
