RE: Cross over Duct?

Hi Yanita, I can't crawl under physically myself. I'm not asking if the ducts are taped. I see that most the ducts are installed properly. But there is one, near the back of the house that comes out of the bottom of the vapor barrier, and literally is taped to the ground. It's been that way since th...

Cross over Duct?

Hi, Just wondering, read Mark's book, and I think I have another problem. I was looking under my double-wide to see if there was any water leak to be seen, and saw the "cross over" ducts. I've always thought my "master bdrm bath rm" was as cold as an outhouse, and wondered why. A...

Question about Bass Babe's topic

Hi, I have the exact similar problem. During the winter the h20 fills up under my MH. Thing is, I have "leased land". I rent the land. A neighbor put a new MH next to me, and he raised the land about 1"-2"s higher than my side. So it'll drain over to my side. I have a foundation ...

Caulk on sheetrock?

Hi,
Checking my place 4 winter, and I see sm. cracks in the sheetrock inside, where the vertical wall hits the ceiling. Right where they meet. Can I just caulk it? Or do I have to use spakle or whatever goes there?
Thanks
Barbara

RE: Quick question mold

Anyone, do you know if I have a "slow leak" would I feel the wetness thru my wall to wall berber carpet? I've heard this leak for a long time. I've got a contractor coming out tomorrow , and he said "you don't need to be there, I'll just crawl under and see if it's a leak or a relevel...

RE: Quick question mold

Hi, Just turned on the hot h20 again. I don't use it, due to the dripping noise, except to shower. I can hear the drip, drip, loud and clear , in the closet. The other side of the wall is a bathtub too, one I don't use, a spare. So wouldn't w/ all that dripping, the sheet rock crumble? Wouldn't the ...

RE: Quick question mold

I was hoping you wouldn't say that. The part about opening up the underbelly. Or a joist, or any of it. It's Not Humid here. Just gets hot during the summer. I "had" a leak from the outside wall, by the electrical Fuse box holder. Seems some h20 got in at the seams of it. I caulked it, the...

RE: Quick question mold

Hi, Thanks. That was my impression too. I kept telling my friend, this guy, that even thou he couldn't see anything under the coach, couldn't there be a leak b/t the walls, under the floor, b/t the floor, if there is such a thing? He said "No' it would show by the little red twirly thingy on th...

Quick question mold

Hi, Just wondering... I'm the one w/ the darned marriage line separation going on. I'm under control w/ that , meaning I'm going to get a contractor and have it re leveled. My question is, whenever I walk into my bedroom, I smell a moldy smell. I've looked everywhere. Now, if there was a h20 leak b/...

RE: Re level Advice...Please

Ok, I've spent all wk, calling MH repair's Co's. No1 has called me back. They all have answering machines. I've called Sales people for MH's. I found one guy who said he'd try to get ahold of a Co. for me, but never heard from him again. I called him back and he didn't answer. The guy who said he'd ...

RE: Re level Advice...Please

It's only Monday, but I've spent all day calling the "Contractors" in the yellow pages and online. No one answers the phone around here. I understand that they might be , probably are , very busy. So I leave a quick message w/ phone # asking to be called back because I'm looking to have so...
