RE: Hola!
Looks good. I have yet to up-date my pics of the Reno's done here. All are of the place when we first bought it. Payed cash too. Didn't want a Mortgage , or to pay rent anymore.
Camaro, Z28, and Firebirds were the top cars for the guys when I was in Highschool. I still prefer a Mustang.

RE: 40 k a year in property taxes?
I would think the house was a repo because of the taxes owed. I know in Calgary, they have auctions every year on places like that. You can buy the house for the amount of taxes owed or at least a portion of that. The government wants their money, and will sell your house for it! If it is just a hou...

HEAT? You mean from the SUN? Please don't talk about nice weather. It is okay here today, but still chilly. That bright thing in the sky hurts my eyes, but it will disappear again.

Mine is pretty small. 6x8 only, but it works good. Framed in wood with thick poly. I used plastic trim to tack down the poly on the roof against the wood, so the wind doesn't rip it apart. We aren't allowed much more than that size in our park. There is a 8' troff that I use for the carrots and gree...

RE: Did you lose any plants this past winter?
I was thinking of my plants this morning too. All great minds think alike!!! I lost my Apple tree(Porch Apple) , Lemon balm(and it was in the greenhouse),Garlic chives, and my Lavender. My miniature White Rose survive without even being covered though. Isn't that strange. So far, I think most of my ...

RE: Happy Day to you!!!
It is always fun to feed them sugar, and buy them cheap noisy toys to send them home with. My mother always said to me "I hope you have kids just like you." Didn't really know what she meant, until I had kids of my own. I have to admit though, y kids are ANGLES compared to my sister's kids...

I just have to say, even though we have crap-oh-la weather here, my greenhouse is doing good(peas, thumb carrots, and green onions so far) and I have my pepper plants(hot peppers) still in the house. I started my Tomato plants 5 days ago, and they have already sprouted.( with the help of one of my aq...

RE: Popcorn? ceiling
I have removed texture from ceilings. Like JD says is the easyway. I have to recommend something to seal stains. You may find this strange, but it works for me, and I don't like Kilz. It doesn't always cover(or hide) stains. I work for a construction company, and do alot of renos on bathrooms with p...

Oh, to be young again!! I was 19 for my first, so, he could actually call me anytime to tell me I'm gonna be a GRANDMA! But, not yet I hope.
But then again. What do they say? If I knew Grandchildren would be so much fun, I would have had them first!

LOL!! I like the Yes ma'am. Good to know that The manners are there. I just don't like it when guys older than myself call me ma'am.(Not saying I'm a spring chicken, or anything.) But all the ladies know what I mean. I like Yanita's pic. It makes you feel like she is talking directly to you, don't it?

I would asume that the weight of one of these is a bit different than a reg tub or shower stall. You have installed them, JD. Is there a big difference?

RE: How to cut granite
I have a blade to cut granite, but backwards blade should work too. I know it works for cutting vinyl siding without chipping it.
