Re: dealing with american modern insurance

I hope I can add a thing or two about Insuance for my old 88 model trlr. Tried to get insuance for mine through my Shield Of Shelter Insuance company A few years ago & they declined getting me some because of the age of the trlr. Been dedicated to this insurance for many years now with them insu...

Re: Sealing Metal Porch Roof to Mobile Metal Roof

The seam tape is a slow process having to roll it over all those high ridges but that's the way it has to be done if you want it not to leak then apply the cement over it. My metal roof has the same product design on it. "Rolled corregated" roof design. That's what I intend to do with my p...

Re: Sealing Metal Porch Roof to Mobile Metal Roof

Same problem here with my frt. porch deck "dinotoad". I was recommended to install the deck level with the roof line but instead I attached the deck a slight bit lower than it should have been. About an inch or two. Mine looks a mess now with all tha black roofing tar cement & silocone...

Re: Wall outlet wiring

Lorne, I'm having the same problem with my outlet in my laundry room. Mine is a bit higher than your's, halfway up the wall. My project is replacing the whole panel where I had a bad water leak at the main hot water line valve going to the washer a long while back. Trying to figure out how to get th...

Re: 1988 Prestige 16x60 water pipes leaking

Thank's Brenda! Found out it wasn't cat dropping after all. While I was cleaning the ducts out. It must have been just debris from when the Wife was cleaning the floors & somehow some of it fell into the vents over time. Some was old slmall dog food chunks. Did alot of heavy scraping as far as I...

Re: 1988 Prestige 16x60 water pipes leaking

Thank's to both of you responding back. I don't allow cats in my house so they don't have a chance getting in the vents that way. They may be able to from under the trlr. though cause of the webbing being torn in many places from past water leak repairs i've done. Havn't got around to fixing the und...

Re: 1988 Prestige 16x60 water pipes leaking

For now it's vented for the panel's removed for repairs. But know it's not vented except for some small drilled holes in the panels made for peep holes. The panel's were old doors. I'll have to get me another camera soon & send some pics of my layout of my surroundings. I know the insullation lo...
