Would the pipe on the roof have anything to do with it? Like a restriction ? The burner igniter looks all rusted up. Those things are not cheap if thats the problem. I've doing some checking on the web on how these darn units work. The fan speed may be my whole problem since my stepson said the fan ...

RE: Intertherm furnace not hot enough
Hey Robert I'm not too familiar on how to check the fan speed or the ATR. The furnace is turned off now since the weather here is in the 60's & 70's. Weird huh for this time of year. It keeps cycling on & off at long periods of time not at random. My step son said the air coming out of the re...

RE: Proper sealant
I will consider checking all these products out & experimenting with them on pieces of board & see what happens. I did measure the gaps & they are lg. enough I can fit my pinkey finger in them. Thanks again all. Yanita, I did like yours about the insulation theory then fill in the rest w...

RE: Intertherm furnace not hot enough
Hi Robert! Hope you & your family are enjoying your XMAS time. I have some news for you about my furnace. My step son came over last night for the holidays & looked at my furnace & told me the heat from the registers was definately not warm enough to keep our trlr. warm enough. I agreed!...

RE: Frozen water lines....my fix
Lets not forget people about your hotwater tank too. Its good to go buy one of those hot water tank blankets so you won't have a major desaster if the tank bursts. Those things can really causea major repair & too fun replacing one in the cold weather.

RE: Proper sealant
Thanks Greg. Those cracks are about a 1/4 inch wide but i will give it a try again & then try cuting the excess off once it sets up. I'm not the best when it comes to installing new plywood on a floor & getting the measurements just right. Thats why I have big gaps around the walls. Happy Ho...

Proper sealant
:D Wanting to know what type of sealant is good for sealing around my baseboards. I have some places where their are gaps where I have replaced the flooring & some are quite large & feel air coming from them. I tried using that foam stuff but it is so messy to handle & alot of it just ke...

RE: Intertherm furnace not hot enough
Thanks Robert for that info. I just wanted to add that the flame is coming out like a flame from a campfire or stove burner & not out like a blast of flame all around the lg. plate on top. Could I be right about my visual inspection of the flame? Along while back I had adjusted the valve to cont...

RE: Intertherm furnace not hot enough
I left out some important details. My home is a 88 model 16x80 Heritage with a v-style sloped roof. The duct system is ok with no leaks. The temp outside is 15 degrees & not 25 degrees & the wind is calm, which I would think would not make a big differance as long as my home is insulated wel...

Intertherm furnace not hot enough
:D Hey Robert or Mark! Back again with a quick question. My Intertherm gas furnace is not getting hot enough. It is about 25 degrees outside here in Okla. & the flame inside the unit is not coming out strong like it should. The air from the registers is luke warm & not hot like it used to be...

RE: Intertherm motor problem
:) Yes Robert the small one w/ the eyelet attached. I was also referring to the extra large green wire that comes from the relay box That attached to the old magnitek motor. I just cut it & put a wire nut on it & put it to the side. The new motor only had 4 wires that went to the relay box, ...
