Re: Snapit elec box replacement idea
:( I have tried using the standard house receptacles where the wires are wired to the side & had no success cause I have problems getting the neutral white & power black wires cut & wired in right then back in the wall. Trying to find a nearby box to install on a stud can also be difficu...

Snapit elec box replacement idea
:D I found a good idea how to easily install the back plate & frt. box getting the wires in place in the back replaced an easy way. Either use a large pair of channel locks or a c-clamp with two short 1x2's boards & ptit one on the back side & one on the frt. side & slowly clamp the ...

Re: My ceiling panel repair
Someone on here told me to use the white tape & as you can see I used black gas pipe moisture proof strips of tape. Where's my head at, Duh! If I can get some white tape that is wide enough without cutting it in narrow strips to cover the holes that would be great. The mold in the upper ceiling ...

Re: MGH-055-ABWN-06 ac noise issue
That is a normal sound as pressure in the system equalizes. I was just curious since it didn't do it that loud a long time ago. I sleep by myself in the room right next to the unit & can hear it loud. It also makes after shutting down a popping noise in the air ducts like after the air is throu...

Re: best non programmable thermostat
I had a Honeywell that went bad. I bought a Lux from Lowe's as a replacement. It is much easier to program. Also, whatever I did with the Honeywell, the furnace would short cycle. Not so with the Lux. :?: Not interested in a programmable one cause we are never gone form the house very long. No need...

Found out when I purchased a new rebuilt limit switch from here it did not fix my issue.
Still having to use floor heaters to keep the house warm in the winter.
No need for it now though.

Which one is the best over a Hunter brand.
My digital Hunter buttons are worn out & have to press hard to set the temps to the desired settings. Battery's are good. It doesn't seem to work well on other setting either.
Thank's!

Re: My kitchen project
I sent an email to my cuz with the frame measurements & pics.
Just have to wait for a response back to see if he can make them for me.
I asked him to make the frame only. Maybe he can make the whole cabinet assembly for me at a good price.
Getting them to me is another matter.

As you can see in the pics, the cabinets are good shape & just need some touch up. The drawers are in great shape to just the runners need resecured better.

MGH-055-ABWN-06 ac noise issue
My ac furnace has a noise when the ac shuts off like a gurgling noise then stops after a few moments.
I suspect its the system restabilizing. Maybe its low on refriderant but its cold enough.
Maybe time to get my ac guy out to check it out just in case.
