RE: Manufactured home,Mobile Home or Trailer???
When we moved into the park it was called Terrace Trailer Court-but was changed recently to Terrace Court- most people who don't live in a manufactured home will call it a trailer-most of us who live in them call it home-to me a trailer is something you pull behind your car or truck to go camping-an...

Knew everything was g...

RE: American Idol predictions for thursday
Wow was I off. Sundance & Sabrina were a surprise. Jared & Antonella weren't. My feeling is Sundance made a very poor song choice for this week, while Sabrina's snotty look at Simon's comments might have cost her votes. Hey look how long it took to get rid of Kevin Couvais last year-he shoul...

American Idol predictions for thursday
My predictions for tonight's eliminations are Girls:Haley Scarnato & Stephanie Edwards. Though Antonella Barba is the worst singer of them all I think her cutesy pie good looks and constant controversy about her racy Internet photos and Frenchie Davis being shafted will unfortunately keep her in...

RE: Park Living PRO's & CON's
When we moved into our park it was the most desirable park in town. Since ownership changed hands the park is starting to slide and for the first time I can hear home owners talking of moving as the new owners are slow to enforce rules if at all. I now have 2 pipe smoking crack heads living next doo...

RE: new exterior walls
Hi JD, cant figure how to post pics so will answer your questions as best as I can. The roof is a galvanized rolled roof with no overhang as is typical of pre-HUD homes. (1973) Roof runs under v gutter tucks behind original metal fascia by about 2 inches or so. The bottom of home is horizontal alumi...

RE: Considering buying a fixer upper
What you need to do is price out the cost of parts and labour to bring home up to par, then find what price is for comparable homes of that year that are in good condition and see if there is any potential for savings. by the sounds of it that would be highly unlikely. probably better to walk and sp...
