Stand-alone shower drain problem
Ok, after months of battling standing water in the stand-alone shower, it's time to do something else....tried the 'crystals' and 'hair goo' remover brands. Even a tool from walmart that goes down and grabs hair and such. Water is basically still in the pipe, maybe an inch or so down from the top of...

Work covers 95% of my plan, so that $100 a month really costs me $5.00 since it's business related. a ringing phone during a sales call is annoying, rather leave it in the car. Text message vibrates only, so in the pocket i'll feel it and then read it when i can, if it's urgent i take care of it, if...

I guess it's just me, but I would much rather hear someones voice than see what they write. I also refuse to text. I get enough of that with emails. I have enough minutes to talk as much as I want and I love to talk. difference there, i'm not around email all day, on the road and such with work, th...

I send over 4,000 texts out a month, and receive probably the same or more...i've gone from the traditional phone that flips regular to a palm type phone with qwerty keyboard to a phone now that flips open regular or sideways with the keyboard on it. Unlimited everything though....only way to go for...

RE: Question about insulation around furnace
Looks close to mine. I'd imagine the foam expand stuff would be just fine as well...let it get hard then trim the excess with a sharp cutter. I also added another return (cut into the wall just to the adjoining wall side) as i heard 'the more air the better to return'. http://mobilehomerepair.com/ph...

wow, looking forward to some great replies on this..your layout/diagram is almost exactly as mine. Just add a 4th bedroom in between bath and br on the left and utility room after that. out of curiousity, how big is your return air grill on the furnace? or if you can take a picture and post, even be...

Hey Robin, looks great. Question...how are those rugs err throw rugs i guess you'd call them, in front of the couch and chairs, staying down? Did you use the grippers, or are they slip and sliding around? My next project will be the formal dining room and living room. I've done half the house with l...
