RE: HELP with replacing sliding glass doors with french door
We have that exact same style of french doors! We gutted our dining room, took out the single door and window that was already there and installed the french doors. We LOVE them!! Here's a picture of my dining room now: http://mobilehomerepair.com/phpbb/userpix/36_diningroom_1.jpg Our home is REALL...

New metal roof....where to buy??
We need to upgrade our roof. Hubby was going to put coating on it this year for now and have rubber roof put on in a year or two. But that is really more money than we want to spend. Any idea how much a metal roof would cost? (materials only) And where do you purchase that sort of metal? Our home i...

RE: Vinyl siding
Thanks for the input. I will print these replies out and give to hubby to read. As for the water heater access door - that will be gone. We have a new electric water heater in a "closet" that is accessible from inside our bathroom. The laundry room door will also be gone. We put drywall o...

RE: Vinyl siding
Actually we have ordered new vinyl clad windows the exact same sizes that we already have (didn't want to change the interior walls). So rottage will be an issue if it's there. Keep your fingers crossed for us! As the guys are working on the house, I will be out there taking pictures to post here.

Vinyl siding
As I've mentioned before, we are going to install vinyl siding this spring. We currently have metal siding and under it is some type of "cardboard" type sheating. We will be taking it to the studs, install new insulation, plywood sheating, house wrap, and the siding. Oh, and new windows to...

RE: mac, uploading photo with post
Okay, I'm confused. All I have is an icon that says Img. If I click on it, this is what I get: [img] Nothing else.
Am I supposed to be able to upload pictures from my pc? That would be nice. Please explain why I can't do that if it's supposed to be possible!
Thanks.

RE: How is this possible?
Gosh, how did you even get to see a list like that? I've never seen that before. And no, guests cannot post messages; they can just read messages. I tried it when I wasn't logged in!! As soon as I tried "replying" to a message, it brought up the log in box.

RE: mac, uploading photo with post
To insert an image in your post, you have to put the entire link like this: In other words, the image has to be already on a website that you can link to. As far as I know, you can't just insert an image from your computer into a post. You have to use your profile for th...

RE: Mark & admins - Shout box
I posted earlier about the shout box. I had mine set for everyone and I too had a bunch of garbage in it. So I deleted all the entries and changed access to registered users only. I don't see the point in it even being there, do you?

RE: Consumer reports ranks internet providers
I'm surprised to see Comcast so far down on the list of cable providers. I've had Comcast for about 3 years or so and have never had a problem. Knock on wood! LOL Where we used to live for a long time the only thing available was dial-up and that was HORRIBLY SLOW. Couldn't get DSL and Cable wasn't...

I think n/a is there because you have yourself checked to be "hidden" when you log on. Therefore, no last visit! See?

Do you vote for American Idol?
So many people are outraged at who is left on American Idol, I just wondered if any of you actually vote each week?
