No sealer I don't get that messy in the kitchen . It will be a standard black metal splash from lowes. The stain is just a raw umber glaze. The reason I a using a lot of black is the raw umber is a bit brown if you add a lot of black in the trim it will fool the eye.

Sorry for the quality of the pics I think the computer interferes with the camera. I tried the glazing but did not like it . The second coat of color just went on the cabinets !!! Hardware and doors back on tomorrow. then trim then pics!! That is just primer.The final color will be close to the green in the cover paper. It will have a slight glaze and black hardware and trim.

just got done sanding the doors!! the bottoms had some bad water damage !! I will have to see how the are after sealing and prime if I want to reuse them .

the cabinet quality is excellent! I work in construction in high end homes and I would say the quality is better than some of the cabinets in million doller homes.
