Where about is it puffed up? around the outer edge, near the duct? Depending on the location is where you will need to start looking for the leak. Greg The A/C vent comes out of a bottom cabinet, not the floor. The floor was all puffed up except the edges where it could not. It was puffed up the mo...

RE: Wind Blowing Up Kitchen Floor
This doesn't happen with the A/C on. it only happened the one day when it was extremely windy. It is windy quite often but it has only raised the one time.

Wind Blowing Up Kitchen Floor
I live in a new 2006 double wide and a couple of weeks it was very windy. I came inside and saw that the vinyl on the kitchen floor was all "puffed" up. In the 7 months I've been in here it has never done that. The mobile is set at ground level with openings at both ends. One of my questio...

Ceiling Problems
My cousin has a 1986 Golden West and at one time it had a couple of leaks that have been repaired. In the meantime it damaged a pretty big spot in the kitchen. I was checking it out tonight and really made a mess of it. It seems that the panels are on 2X6's. Can we take down the ceiling tiles and pu...

RE: What Kind of Plumbing Pipes Are These?
Harry, we have installed an RO before, but have never seen these Pex lines before. Our previous home had regular pipes and fittings. It sounds like it might be better to get a plumber to install this as we do not have the crimping tool.

RE: What Kind of Plumbing Pipes Are These?
Hi JD. Thank you for your timely reply. We are trying to install a Reverse Osmosis and the directions do not cover this type of plumbing. We have no idea what to do. I hope that we can get some help here.

What Kind of Plumbing Pipes Are These?
These are underneath my kitchen sink and I have not seen them before. I have a 2006 Karsten DW.

Interior Water Heater
I am purchasing a 2006 Nelmstar double wide and the water heater is located in the middle of the home accessible through an access door through the master bedroom closet. I am worried about a leak. Is there something that can be put under the water heater to prevent water damage? Also, we drain it t...

RE: Re level Advice...Please
One thing you might want to look into is if your insurance covers the re-leveling. My cousins double wide got off kilter and it was covered by insurance.

RE: Need Some Help
Thanks for your recommendations. I want to put a mobile back on the same land. It is a great neighborhood. I checked a few places in Kingman, AZ, but it seems like I can get a better deal out of Phoenix even though it's further.

Need Some Help
My doublewide was destroyed by fire so I am looking for another one. Does anyone know of a mobilehome repo place or something like that? I live in Bullhead City, AZ and the mobile cannot be older than 7 years old. Thanks for any help.

My Masterbath Remodel
I'm new to this website, but wanted to share my recent redo of my bath. I'm going to show before and after pics and kind of describe the process. These were just as I was getting ready to start. It is the first view into the bathroom. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i153/jinky1/100_0347.jpg http:/...

Door Vent Ventilation
My back porch/laundry room has an interior door that goes into the main part of the home. The door has a large slatted vent in it. I' assuming that it is some kind of return air control as the A/C fan and heater is on the back porch. Anyway, I would like to replace this door and was wondering if I c...

RE: Burglar proofing
Unfortunately, flgmtech is the victim of an unscrupulous landlord. She is not on his side. He is the minority in that park and will be glad when he vacates so that she can charge a ridiculous rent to an illegal alien. These "migrants" are in all probability mostly illegal and will not comp...
