Sewage line
We have alot of tiny black fleas/bugs . Want to defog inside and will,but what is best to use for the drain(runs 70ft) ?? Don't want to use anything too strong that might 'eat' thru the system!!!

Had new kitchen flooring put down 2 yrs now. The problem is it bubbles up in places&can't flatten it out smooth! Even from the beginning it was doing that. The installers came back twice---ended up replacing flooring but with new sub flooring&molding. What can I do to remedy this? I'm sure t...

ok---We're in great shape now!! The installer replaced the elbow fittings that appears to have done the job. Just installed a new Water Boss(700)unit.It is located in one of our closets . Is it normal to have some 'condensation' on the in-connection at the unit or would there might be some possible leakage ? I had it reconnected by the installer yesterday & it's still wet there today!!

We have real 'hard water' in our well. It has caused alot of problems w/lime deposits thru out the cold water lines & faucets,ect.. It was recommended we get a watersoftener. (also a filter to our incoming line).. Need info or suggestions on types to use. Cannot put it outside due to weather. We...

I will be leaving for a week in Feb. If I shut off the incoming line, will I have problems w/freezing pipes? I'm in upstate NY where it gets "brutal" !!!! Or should I just leave everything on ?

Thanks for all the info in regard to my heat tape. I totally agree with it all. My biggest situation is that my line is approx. 60 ft long and behind a porch now!! Don't know how long heat tapes are sold in but will get someone to help accomplish it. 'preciate your advise --- Ron

Is there a meter or whatever on the market to ck a heat tape to see if it is still good ?? Mine is 7 yrs old. Had bad winds last winter&unfortunatley my line froze. I keep wondering if it may have been just the tape(well insulated).

The problem is in the temp,not pressure. What is a "defector valve"?? Something in the tank? We're on well water here(hard). I may have to replace the whole tank if the buildup continues! You can hear the elements reheating pretty clear. Thanks for any reply. -- I'm not fixing it if it 'ai...

My 1st question on the new forum so hope I do it right! Our water fluxuates in the showersonly. All other faucets are fine.
