RE: Weird bathtub in older mobile home
Thanks for the advice everyone. I tried to pull it off, but it wouldn't budge. There were only a couple of screws (not normal screws by the way) but I just couldn't manage to get it off. I was going to use a crowbar, but I was afraid I'd crack the tub. So, since I was able to push it in, I got base ...

RE: Windows - Why & What is Cheaper?
Greg, I know that you're right about my leveling the house. It's just that I'm on my own (no men around right now), and I could never do this myself. I'm in PA near Scranton/Wilkes Barre. Do any of you know of any contractors in my area that would relevel it and install the windows.
Thanks......
Thanks......

RE: Windows - Why & What is Cheaper?
Hi Tami, I also have a '77 and I know what you mean when you say your afraid of what you might discover. I also have low windows, the lowest being in the kitchen. At least there are cabinets about those windows, but they still look stupid. I need to replace all of the windows and should have done it...

RE: Water Pressure
Just wondering.....did the work that they were doing outside have anything to do with your problem, or was it just the water softener?

RE: Romm divider for mobile home
Well, we have something in common...except I only have one of them. I love him to death, but sometimes he gets really out of control. I'm going to watch your post to see if anybody has any ideas. Good Luck!

Hide trailer hitch?
Anyone have any ideas to cover the hitch? I tried plants last summer but had no luck with the soil. I can't afford to get scrubs right now.

The flimsy white panel may be a bath paneling similar to Thrifty White or Tileboard (has tile grid lines) sold at most home stores. It also may be RFP panel (reinforced fiberglass panel). What ever it is, it sounds like it was added at some point. This is basically a vanity panel to keep you from s...

RE: Water Pressure
I'm not having exactly the same problem, but hoping someone can help me. The water pressure in kitchen sink and bathroom sink is fine. The "cold" water in the bathtub is fine. The "hot" water is turned on all the way and only a small stream comes out. It makes it almost impossibl...

Weird bathtub in older mobile home
I bought a 1977 Champion last summer and have been working on it little by little, as money allows. I just can't figure out the bathtub. I has this piece of board on the front of it. It's screwed down somewhat but is warped so I can actually push down on the bottom of it to make it straight, but one...
