Whirlpool hot water heater

Since my son moved out and I have been the only one in the house, I have barely heard the hot water heater kick on. But just today, it see...

Re: Leaking roof
JD, another question, please.......if the flashing between the house and addition seems to be the problem, and the shingles are good would you still remove the shingles or just fix the area of the flashing? I hate to spend a ton on something that might be an easier fix. I have applied tar over the t...

Leaking roof
Ok, here is my question. I have an extension on my mobile home which is 34ftx13ft. It is currently shingled. I have had two contractors out to get the roof fixed to stop the leaks. The quote from one will put on shingles again and the other wants to put a rubber roof on it due to the NO pitch in the...

Gas hot water heater not constantly hot
I have a gas hot water heater. The pilot light remains lit. However when the water isn't used, it seems to cool down. For example. My son and I take showers 12 hours apart from each other. Each time the water is lukewarm. I can keep just the hot tap on and get a shower, but it is not hot in the leas...

RE: moisture control under the house
After reading this topic, I wonder if you have any thoughts about the same concept, but with a home that is NOT on a concrete slab. I own my land my house is on. And I have moisture under the house. The ground underneath me is dirt. Just thought I would throw this out there for any feedback! Thanks ...

RE: Coleman Evcon A/C BRCQ0301CB
Thank you for the response and installation directions. Let me go over a few things with you while my part is in transit. When you say "short across the terminals" what exactly does that do? I have the power completely shut off to the A/C unit while doing this repair. And are ALL screwdriv...

Last year my A/C unit stopped working. I did a few trouble shooting ideas and thought it was the capacitor. The repair people were out yesterday and confirmed the capacitor is out. Now my question to you is............ARE THEY KIDDING ON THE COST TO REPLACE IT? They quoted me 181.00. And correct me ...
