Re: Vinyl Beadboard
Still looking for the molding, I don't want that plain thin stuff, looking for maybe 2 inches wide, but not too fancy, and no wider.

Re: Vinyl Beadboard
Far from done, we still have to finish up the walls and purchase the molding, but the vinyl beadboard worked out pretty good. ceiling01.jpg I'd like to replace that light too, but this was an unexpected repair, so that will have to wait. I'm actually going to consider this if the master bath or the ...

Vinyl Beadboard
Has anybody tried the vinyl beadboard planks? I see Home Depot carries them. We are planning on using these for our bathroom ceiling. Hubby just took down the old ceiling (water damaged). He put up some plywood today. So next weekend, we want to get the planks up. I'm thinking, white vinyl, no paint...

Re: Frozen pipes and propane shortage stories
Thanks Ponch, I've actually been lurking here for a few months, trying to take everything in. I'll be cracking the whip to get them under there and check everything out. Not just for winter, but summer too. It could be cooler in here too. Between electric and oil its crazy,

Re: Frozen pipes and propane shortage stories
Our first winter here, the oil went from 3.79 in October 4.40 this month. We had one plumber visit for frozen pipe leading to hot water heater and the filter for the oil froze and we had no heat one night. Coming from natural gas and a standard house, we're learning real quick. Husband is taking adv...
