I have this switch and haven't torn into it, I was noticing the other day the fan was on in the bathroom. I went to shut it of, and the switch just kept trippin...

Vinyl U_channel for Hot water tank cover.
Hi All- During my remodel I have managed to loose the Vinyl Molding that goes around the 1/4" drywall cover for the hot water tank closet. I have search high and low at the home stores, google has failed me. Does anyone know where I can get some? Or have any ideas or a work around for the 1/4 d...

Painting Plywood Exterior
I prep'd the outside for paint today and was wondering if I should spray or maybe roll the outside? With spaying the masking will take about as long as the painting, not to mention over spray and using more paint. The siding is not a deep groove T-111, but there is about and 1/8 groove for sure. I a...

Interior Doors
Hi All- Since I am new to mobile home remodeling, I am bound to make mistakes. Fear not, I did. The interior doors in our mobile were crap, so I ripped them out. I figured I would just buy new prehung ones and install them. That is when I got my education. It appears that everyone and their brother ...

How would you fix this? Subfloor/Wall
Hi All- I thought I would make a new post on my drama. :( While replacing my rotten floors it is becoming clear that unfortunately I will need to replace the particle board underneath the Wall studs. The Particle board is soaking wet, and does not see to dry thus it must be replaced. But how is the ...

Re: CPVC PIPE
Can I just drill a hole in the floor and run the new PEX through to the hot water tank? Toilet? Is that code?? It's probably a stupid question, as that is what they did with the CPVC, but I like to do things properly and just want to make sure.

CPVC PIPE
I have a bunch of Underbelly, walls, and floors open on my Project. I had to fix a leaky shower pipe, and replace the flooring where the Hot Water tank was. Most of the pipe is 1996 CPVC pipe. While I dont want to create more work for myself, would it be wise to replace it? I think a lot of it is get...

Re: HELP!! Water in Floor Insulation
Thanks Greg- I went down and slit the underbelly in a few places yesterday and got rained on. I will let it dry for a few days while I look for a contractor to replace it. That may be me, but we'll see what I can dig up. 1987Commodore - I am very suspicious of this. I need to demo the front deck whi...
