Morning...noticed that heating Elements are working, but the fan motor is not turning on. I go to the Thermostat and move the contact lever up and down and there is no spark when the contacts meet. When I go through moving the wiring around and pulling on and off the wires to their connectors...then...

Re: Coleman EB17B THERM OFF BUT HEAT ELEMENTS ON ALWAYS
Just found the problem...I looked over the Lower Control Board 7681-317P, and I spotted a loose resistor joint where the solder meets the resistor lead. Resoldered the loose joint and the unit is working fine again.

Coleman EB17B THERM OFF BUT HEAT ELEMENTS ON ALWAYS
Just started last night-- woke this morning to a cold home...went to the furnace and it was warm standing by the unit...opened unit...hot around heating elements and sheet metal, but no running fan. Part #7681-317P , F7454
Does any one know what type of 18 pin, U1 integrated circuit (ic) is used on this Coleman Lower Control Board? I have a blown chip and I believe if I replace this chip, my problem might be solved.
