Re: Edge of underfloor coming up under linoleum
There are no water pipes in that area. They are about 4 feet away running parallel to the 66 feet. I did have a flood from the washer a year or so ago, but I was here and got it cleaned up fast and the upcoming edge is not hear a seam. It is one solid piece of lino.

Re: Edge of underfloor coming up under linoleum
When I step on it without shoes, it feels like it goes down. It is about 3 feet long and I can't see any movement of the part outside my foot. I have no idea, but I can tell you the floor has been squeaky for a long time. When the linoleum was put in about 7 years ago, I asked them to screw down the...

Edge of underfloor coming up under linoleum
I found only one video about this problem. First he had to find the joist(?) under the linoleum. I'm in a 14x66. Wouldn't the joists run 14 feet? The popping edge is in the 14 feet direction. Couldn't I just place screw about 3/4" inch from the edge that is popping? In the vid, he used a specia...

Re: Garbage disposal vs. no GD -- cost
No Y connection. It goes straight to the drain with the U-trap. As I said, it has not worked in the 10 years I've lived here. I very, very rarely use a garbage disposal. I will use the toilet for things like soup -- but nothing greasy. Most things, I will freeze until trash day, and they put them ou...

Garbage disposal vs. no GD -- cost
I have lived in this MH for 10 years. The garbage disposal (GD) has never worked. Reset, broom handle -- nope. Does not even hum when turned on. I have a new faucet for the kitchen which I purchased last year, but have not had funds to install. THE SET-UP: The dishwasher drains into the disposal. I ...

Re: Washer not draining -- but no front door
I had my friend replace 3 parts that could all be culprit. Got 'em online, so didn't cost a fortune. Found instructions on removing the cabinet and replacing those parts and it now works perfectly.

Thanks, Greg. I used up a LOT of towels. They are currently hanging on the porch in the falling snow. LOL

Hi, Jim. I remember you. I haven't been here in a while, either. Also, hi to Mark, Greg and JD.

Washer not draining -- but no front door
I went to put the washed clothes in the dryer. The washer stopped way full of water and I have a flood. I looked online to see what to do. I put the lid down and pushed the switch, got a hum. Is probably a clog in pump or hose. THE PROBLEM: Online tells me to remove the front panel, but there is no ...

Toilet porcelain repair
I have a Champion 4 toilet that I bought a few years ago. Works GREAT! I did replace the plastic seat and plastic handle. Also replaced the chain inside. This was the first toilet I ever bought and had no knowledge of the "rules of engagement." After it was installed (by that handyman I ha...

I have to forget about Lowes. Nearest one is over 80 miles away.
Didn't think to look for closeouts. I will see if I can find that now.
