Hi,
My first thoughts was like Aaron's. You are sure to run into trouble with the exterior side of the door. How about paint it, maybe add some trim as Greg suggested. LOL, for that little port hole window, there are magnetic curtain rods available, hang a curtain.

Re: SNAKES!
Hi, Ehomet, I guess the relevance is the OP wanted advice about going under his home with the possibility of a venomous snake present. We try to help all members regardless of what the post is, providing they are genuinely asking for help. I will have this post moved to Off Topic as it is not about ...

Re: Kitchen Lighting
Hi,
I really am not sure about replacement panels for the lights. It may just be easier to buy a new flourescent if that is your choice. Hopefully someone will come along and offer some much needed advice here. I do not see your pics....

Hey Lorne, I am not familiar with the product you are mentioning but here are my thoughts. Break down and go buy the table saw! You are always redoing something and the saw will come in handy many times. Also over the course of years the saw will certainly pay for itself...and it probably won't take...

Re: Joint Compound (Faux) Stones
Hi Trudi! Yes, we do enjoy some of the same decorating ideas. Sure do wish we had the photo album so we could keep track of everything. Unfortunately I know longer have before and after's of my home. The pc crashed awhile back...of course not everything was on back up! It's good to be back, kind qui...

Re: Joint Compound (Faux) Stones
Trudi, Great job! Guess I should of read this thread first...I asked in your other thread where this application was done. I am thinking this should hold up well. I have used sheetrock mud to texture many walls in my home and 3 years latter everything is fine. It appears your wall colors are very cl...

Good morning Guys, Joedirt...seems there must be some glitch in signing in...my first attempt at signing in this AM says I have tried to many times and then I too had to complete that cryptic thing. Re: vents
Hi, Air flow is always a consideration. You said they were painted over...as long as the vents are not covered you should be fine. Just a reminder... always use the stove exhaust fan when cooking and the bathroom vents when showering. It's best to leave them running for up to an hour after completin...

Re: Laminate flooring, orientation, transitions and entrance
Hi, If you have the laminate in front of your doors you must be vigilant at wiping up any wetness. If you have small kids, live in a snowy area you might want to consider sheet vinyl in the entries. Also as I was reading your post you mentioned using Allure in your bathrooms. I know they advertise a...
