Hi, What type of duct work do you have, aluminium or flex pipe? Thouroughly research whomever you hire to clean these ducts, They can get tore up real easily. To see how much of a mess is in there you can put a bright flashlight in the first duct, go to the second with a small hand mirror and look b...

Re: OMG!!!!! Flea infestation...HELP!
LOL Audie! I have had a flea infestation before, and it was a nightmare and hundreds of dollars later. It was at my old home this happened, right after the landlord cut down some trees...I swear those fleas were of a mutant variety. Save your money on flea shampoos and just buy a bottle of dawn dish...

Re: What to use to prep floors for vinyl squares? Pictures
Grace in NC.. Always refer to manufacturer's install. We also recommend that if laying vinyl tiles IF your current vinyl flooring is in good condition you can clean it real well and lay your new tile over the vinyl. This also helps protect your subfloor from potential water damage. With any type of ...

Re: Hardwood floors in MH
Hi, In my singlewide (no longer own it) Hubby I put in southern pine flooring. We did not replace the particle board and we had no problems what so ever, even with the slight flexing of the home during the colder months or excessive rain. If your interior doors have a 2 inch gap from the bottom of t...

Re: Skylights
Hi,
I have entertained the idea of the tube lights. You only get the light and not the damaging rays, the light bounces around in the tube, or at least that is how it was explained to me. Let us know if you do this, myself and maybe others would be interested in hearing the results.

You may not have to follow any town/city codes...but check with your insurance company, sometimes they have rules/regs that need to be adhered to.

Re: Skylights
Personally I am not a big fan of skylights. They always seem to leak at some point. I have also seen many pieces of furniture and floors damaged from the suns rays. Also the homes I have been in where ever the lights are that room always seems sooo much hotter than the other areas, but I live in the...

Hi,
I agree with Greg, forego replacement parts if you can afford to purchase a new one.
