RE: Deck, but no footers allowed!
LOL,
Not funny I suppose, but out here in the country is much different than the city.
There is a constant wind/breeze. Just enough to keep the small iron bistro table and umbrella upside down somewhere other than on the deck!

Hi Folks, Cold windy day here in North Carolina, nothing good on the grill. :? Got a stomach bug so I am reduced to bland tasting foods. Ok, I pretty much know who favors who for drivers but whats your thoughts today, who has the best chance of winning. Who will be the points leader at the end of th...

RE: Ondura roof panels
Hi, It looks identical to the stuff you can buy at Lowe's. We used some for a porch roof, but not something I would want on my house roof. It got real brittle after 3 years in the hot N.Carolina sun. If you are looking to redo your roof then get Mark's Manuel and consider the metal roof over that is...

Hi, Unless I misread or misunderstand what you are saying your water lines do not get attached to the I beams. Place the pex up under the insulation, typically running between the floor joist that the heat duct is in. Put the insulation back into place, secure the belly material and then make sure y...

Can not remember the reason exactly but I had a question about the underbelly material...it was Robe...

RE: Manufactured home,Mobile Home or Trailer???
Hi Sylvia, Regardless of how many upgrades we do to our homes, if they start life as you say as a mobile home, they are always a mobile home. They still have the steel I beams underneath. Ours is listed as real property and we pay the taxes as such, titled has been relinquished, BUT we are still a m...
