Frustrating Fascia
Hi there, I am wanting to replace most of the fascia on my manufactured home (built in 94). The only problem is I can't for the life of me figure out what to replace it with. It's about 1/2" thick and 10" tall, dimensions which I can't find anywhere. Any advice?

Re: Range Hood Upgrade - Reducer
Thanks Greg! I ended up finding this puppy https://www.walmart.com/ip/Cosmo-COS-5M ... /479990679 which is really well reviewed. Not quite as wide but shouldn't make a difference as the 42" hood wasn't spanning a gap of any sort.

Range Hood Upgrade - Reducer
Hi there, I just bought a new range and was hoping to replace the hood as well. I have a ventline 42" ducted hood with a centered 5" (grrr) duct. Now it is my understanding that I can replace it with a standard under-cabinet hood by using a 7"-5" reducer coupling. What I'm not un...

Re: Bathroom Sink Supply Line Help
Thanks Joe I really appreciate it. I'm still a bit confused about how I go from the pex to the braided stainless lines, is there an adapter that is pex on one side and threaded on the other? I made a diagram of my proposed solution, at least until I can replace all the PB in the house with Pex. Some...

Re: Bathroom Sink Supply Line Help
Ok so I've done a little more digging and I've found out that I basically need to use a polybutylene to pex connector. This all seems straightforward enough but I can't figure out what size adapter I need and what size pex line I need and how it connects to the sink. The PB in the picture shows 5/8&...

Bathroom Sink Supply Line Help
Slowly going through and repairing all the stuff that's going to hell in my mobile (grandmother left it to me, just moved in to get it up to snuff) and 2 of the 3 bathroom sinks have leaks where the supply line meets the sink and they need to be replaced. I can't figure out what the heck kind of con...

Ceiling planks over existing panels?
Has anyone installed these kind of planks over the existing panels with strips? Either via the metal strips or adhesive? http://www.armstrong.com/residential-ce ... 4149-53737
They seem like they would be a good lightweight solution to covering the ceiling.

Re: New to the Forum - Wood Stove Backing, Walls, and Other Qs
Thanks much Greg. It is actually an inside wall, the other side is the master bedroom/bath, not sure if that makes a difference or not. I actually lived in this house years ago and ended up painting the bedrooms with a sprayer. Although there is a very slight texture to it the primer and paint fille...

New to the Forum - Wood Stove Backing, Walls, and Other Qs
So, a little info first, as I plan on being semi-active on this forum: My late grandmother left me a 3bd 2bth 1100 sq ft 1987 doublewide (castle or something like that, will verify at some point), on an acre of property in northern california. I will be moving there in June to start a complete remod...
