If you can go with standard size tub. 60 inch. I just bought one from Lowes. Fiberglass with reinforced floor and a 3 piece wall kit. Sitting in my shed. Haven't mustered up the gumsion to tear the old one out yet.

Although I've never had to use them. I've seem a contraption that acts like a brace mounts between the ceiling beams and is a good anchor for heavy fans and light fixtures. My biggest fear was always the fan falling. I tend to overbuild sometimes

Inspect the floor for soft spots and water damage. Saw a neighbors toilet sink through the floor joisted because of a rotted floor under the linoilium flooring.

Like Greg said you should go to a Real hard ware store. Look for a adapter with threaded end or may be a valve with a thead end and a nipple on the other to clamp onto the pex.

hello. I,ve used shark bite type of connections many times with no problems , but the best way is to crimp type fitting. the grey pipe had big issues with leaking. depending on how much you have to do. upgrading to pex would be a good idea. many here would agree and probably give you more info. Adhesion is the key. If the walls are painted the paint may lift off. Might think of panel over it. I paneled one of my liveing room walls with simulated brick panels. A few patterns and colors to choose.more costly than mud but easier to keep clean

was going to say whats wrong with the before ? but seeing the after makes a big difference, they look great. I still have the "built to the wall cabinets" looking for used from cr or some where, not afraid to paint .

I used stockade fence panels backed by foil foam board. Stained both sides top and bottom. Theres enough gaps along the panels to allow venting. Haven't had any issues with freezeing ground. I have a alterntive to vinyl skirting. I used it on my home. I started with pallets.used the plakes to make sections. Then stained them with deck stain. Applied foil back foam insulation board to the back. If your home skirting is on a slab you may not have an issue with ground freeze buckeling them...
