RE: Cat Urine!
Reminds me of a neighbor I had years ago! She had a few cats, but didn't believe in spaying or neutering them. Soon she had over 100 cats! Her home reeked so bad, that I could smell it next door on a warm day. The home was condemned and she left, without finding homes for her cats! People that make ...

RE: Deck, but no footers allowed!
LOL Greg!
I now have a visual of bubba and the cave man in therapy. Thanks! But yeah, even bubba would have a hard time messing up a dek block deck!
I love it because it moves with frost heave perfectly! It's always level and solid!

That's a PHP quirk, or PITA! That is why the photo album is down right now, because of spammed porn links! There all mods that you can install that can take care of the problem, but it takes a lot of work. Staying one step ahead of them, is a full time job! Main reason I gave up the website company!...

I hope for the same thing Yanita! But, we all know the American public! 56 mil, is a huge settlement for a few years! I was sort of hoping to see Fergie this year! The Duchess of York or whatever! She applied for the show, and I guess she was overlooked for Heather. I think Fergie would have been a ...

Hi Lacey,
Another option is with terra cotta is going country French! You have the lighter colors with the rustic! Yellow, cream white and a touch of blue, lavender or purple work well.
Still don't have a quick, easy back splash idea! Sorry!

RE: Deck, but no footers allowed!
Yep, we used the dek blocks on our back deck. Nothing is easier!!! I almost love our back deck, it's basically a porch into the back door. The only place that we went wrong was going with a certain home improvement store's wood. The frame is very solid, but I've got to get out there and change 4 pie...

RE: doorway question
Hi Fargoman! I'm just going to add my 2 cents here, as always! Before adding a new door, either a stick built or a mobile door, take a step back first. Do your home work! Do you have 7 or 8 foot ceilings? If you have 8 foot ceilings, then it might be easier to cut out the old header and install a ne...

RE: Would Like To Move Water Heater Tank Outside of Home
Excellent point Yanita! The water sensors can go a long way these days! I was shocked to see that the old water heater, only had a 5 year warranty on it! I know when it was installed, because my neighbor helped install it! We went for the best we could afford and fit into that tiny closet outside! M...

Hi Guys, Yep, thought that ABS was still the best thing out there. It's just nice to get other's opinions before tackling something you haven't done in 20 years! Greg, when I get the total remodel going for the kitchen, I'll rip out the formica counter, but that ain't happening right now! First, wha...

Under The Kitchen Sink!
Hi guys, need some input here! Okay, so I've made the mess under my kitchen sink last for last 8 years. It's now time to change the waste pipes out! They're failing fast. No wonder, they are a mess of ABS and PVC. Most is ABS, is original. The disposer line was jerry rigged into the ABS, using pvc. ...

RE: Would Like To Move Water Heater Tank Outside of Home
Hi Guys, Placing the water heater outside the home has it's pros and cons! We have an older mobile. The water heater is located in a outside closet. Still part of the home though! We use gas for our water heater, and I have to say that feel much safer having it out there! We had our old water heater...
