Re: Painting Aluminum Siding And Skirting
Thanks for the replies, sounds like latex is the way to go. I will look into the BM and the Valspar stuff. Thanks!

Re: Painting Aluminum Siding And Skirting
Yeah, did the search but get some mixed info, just curious if oil based paint should be used, just seems like tough paint for metal surfaces.

Painting Aluminum Siding And Skirting
HI, I have a 70' 1980 trailer with a wood grain on the aluminum siding, which must be printed on some how. The paint is not pealing or anything like that but I would like it to be a different color. I have heard of people using acrylic latex paint and primer. But why not use an oil based primer and ...

Re: Gas Pressure
Is there a replacement valve for my gas valve, if so a link would be great!! I would like it the same so the tubing would not have to be rebent and fitted or purchased.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Gas Pressure
I have a Coleman 76803856 LP ran furnace and would like to know how to adjust the gas pressure in the gas valve on the furnace, here is a picture, they say a spring can get weak and increase the gas pressure. Is it behind the hex plug above the rotary on/off vale in the picture? Thanks! http://i547....

Re: Replacing Coleman Furnace
Thanks, I will most likely order. Maybe the orifice that is in there is too big creating my orange flame issue>? I could not get a look down the flue last time because the cap was too rusty to take off so I need a new one before I take off the old one. Do they make some kind of clamp on one, the out...

Re: Replacing Coleman Furnace
Yeah, I think the flame is still incorrect being it is mostly orange besides the lower part of it. Yes, took the spud out and fully cleaned it with break cleaner and compressed air along with a brush. Cleaned the whole burner assembly like that. You are probably right about the cycling with this fur...

Re: Replacing Coleman Furnace
The fan is what cycles on and off but the burner stays lit. I assume the fan switch gets too cold and shuts the fan down till it can warm the output air more? So, this is normal? I have heard both ways now.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Replacing Coleman Furnace
Hi Robert, When up there this last weekend to look at the furnace and clean it. Took the burner assembly out and cleaned all of that. The flame got a little more blue to it now but still not good enough. I was wondering if the spud orifice may be too large (replaced incorrectly by someone else?). Th...

Re: Replacing Coleman Furnace
I would guess it is a straight shot from the top of the furnace out of flue to the roof jack? Then maybe I could take a flashlight and look down it as long as there is no bends anywhere in the flue or roof jack.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Replacing Coleman Furnace
I am not sure on the #'s for the furnace, it is 4hrs away but plan to go there this weekend with the new transformer and check it over better. I better check that roof jack/flue out for any kind of air leak or plugging. Thanks for the help!

Re: Replacing Coleman Furnace
By the way where is the air inlet for the burner flame on one of these furnaces ? Is it under the furnace and requires removal to get to it ? I went under the trailer last year and did not see an inlet hole or anything through the pan, does it go somewhere else?
Thanks.
Thanks.
