Re: Kitchen Lighting
JD this sounds about the best and easiest the only thing is to find the right lights. Maybe a group of low voltage lights will work. Thanks

I wish it were that east to put something over it but it three feet off of the ground where we get the most wind and rain. If you dream of a fix let me know.

We have had water leaks in two front lanai windows we tried everything to fix it and nothing worked until we realized where the water was coming from. Where the black spline holds the screens in there is a mitered cor...

Kitchen sink gurgles
The kitchen sink gurgles when the toilet is flushed. There is a vent on the roof above the bathroom and there is an under the counter vent in the kitchen I unscrewed the vent and tested it and it works, if I leave the vent off when the toilet flushes there is no noise. I added an additional vent und...

New floor over lanai/florida room
I'd like to put a new floor over the concrete/pebblecrete floor on the lanai. Does anyone have a suggestions on how to do this. Would it be ok to use 2x6 or 2x8 across the span. I do not have any solid wall to fasten one end to or secure a header. The room is approx 11 x 21.6.
