((((100K for mobiles and 200K plus for modulars)))
At those prices I would stay where you are at and put the payment into the bank or a investment.

RE: water in a/c ducts?
Sounds like the A/C coil drain is plugged up causing the water (condensate) to overflow the pan and into the duct. Take corrective action right away. Clear the drain line and get as much water out of the duct as possible. A wet and dry vac will work if you can find the low spot in the duct. Pull the...

Mortex,Summit,Sun Therm, are all owned by the same corporation (Summit Manufacturing, Inc.). They are located in Texas. Doug Hayes Mortex Sales Manger has been very helpful by supplying some materials for our charity work through the church here. Good products and good prople make a great company. M...

RE: Smoke Detectors
JD is correct. Code states that when one goes off they all go off. That was the reason for the code change years ago by HUD. Usually there is a 3 wire circuit for the hard wire type detectors. On hot leg a neutral and a traveler trigger wire to make them all go off at one time. Smoke detectors are c...

RE: Help Please! Need to add A/C to old Coleman or ???
You really do not need a heat pump since your electric furnace is back up heat to start with. I would get at least 2 more estimates from two different company's for your A/C. 4600.00 seems a little high to me for a indoor coil, outside unit, line set and related electric work. It would seem to me that...

RE: Help Please! Need to add A/C to old Coleman or ???
What area of the country do you live in? Are heat pumps used in your area? Prices sound expensive to me but it could be the area you are in. Twenty one year old equipment is getting there as far as replacement is concerned. Going all new will allow you to obtain the best energy saving ratios as comp...

RE: More Water Heater
20 years is a long time for a water heater to last. In this area it is about 10 years. You might look into replacement sooner than later.

RE: Water heater recommendation
A new gas heater will be cheaper to install because the connections (Gas and flue pipe) are already there. There are some 30 gallon electric models available that are called high recovery. You need to check in your area to see who offers these because as I have found out not all water heaters are of...

Many years ago I was on a service call. I just happened to look up on this mans roof and saw a bunch of standard lawn watering hose. I questioned the home owner about this and he said they used the hose on the roof to help heat the water in the swimming pool. He said it worked well for what it was. ...

Package units are nice. They are quiet as compared to the standard set up. Why are you getting a new Coleman furnace and not a Coleman A/C. Just curious. You will find that all units are only as good as the care taken to install them correctly. No matter what the name they will all fail if the insti...

That would be a logical choice. The fan relay can stick closed causing this problem.
The heat sequencer would be my next choice part number 3115-3571

Your toilet snake might not be long enough to reach the clog. There should be a vent on this line somewhere. The vent could be cloged or defective causing this problem also.

Post your outside units name, and model number. Hopefully we can find the exact size for your unit you have now and see what can be done to make it run better.
