Outside edge of subfloor More in post
The home I purchased has subfloor damaged by water coming in at the windows. I have to replace lower outside 1/2 board and sub-flooring. The question I have is the 3/4 board goes under the framing on the sides of the outside walls. I cut the flooring out and than saw the staples to remove the rotted...

Our RVs go thru extreme temperatures just like some of the homes that some may own. Also the key which I did not mention is wither th...

Re: Center of MH is level, both outter walls drop over 1 & 1
Agrees with Greg a Carpenters Level is not accurate at Leveling the home. Depends where you are...Florida it is sandy and easy to dig..... The siding is wavy maybe because the manufacture used staples to hold the siding on your home and it is probably tight no room to expand which causes the wave. I...

Re: Convert garden tub into shower
To answer Greg, that is not true...You can use tile in the Mobile home. I worked for Marathon Coach which is an Prevost bus converted to a 2.5 million dollar home on wheels. The coaches used porcelain, ceramic and marble tile. Not only that we had tile on the slide outs as well. Those coaches have w...

Re: MOLD under mobile home wont go away cleaned , fixed etc
The 3/4 subfloor may have damage from water ..I know you were under the home, but check there....Also the drywall board may have mold behind it... Use a mask and clean the boards under the home if not damaged or rotted...Than use Kilz with mold protection on the wood...
