Thank you greg but the belly butts right too the joist do they sell some thin insulation because i would think thicker insulation would block warm air too pipes thanks.

Hello just a quick question should i insulate between the main duct and plumbing pipes? grey pipe on the right and duct work on the left or is this factory installed this way? here is a pic of what i mean.replacing subfloor and look what i found thank you.

Yes JD i am going to switch for another one.This plumbing is in bad shape 1/2" from shut off to 3/4" main line too 3/8" to fixtures.Maybe that's why i have wimpy water pressure? lol i cut a small hole too look at plumbing and all the insulation is missing in the middle of the belly fa...

Thanks greg quess i will stick with the copper crimp rings then.Bought a apollo Multi-Head Crimp Tool from lowes yesterday and it has surface rust allover it plus one of the jaws pin is bent will have to switch for another. :evil: thanks all.

PEX to Polybutylene Coupling

Hello just a quick question will these make a good seal around the pex to poly fittings? http://www.amazon.com/BEST-PEX-Stainless-Clamps-Polybutylene-Tubing/dp/B0006OCIXW/ref=pd_sxp_f_pt/186-3039447-2685010 or should i stick with the regular copper crimp rings? just looking at patching up this leaky...

Thank you JD for the info i was planning for a new roof next year this is just a temp fix because the thin metal had some long tears and was afraid the wind would tear it more and rip off.I will take your advice and caulk it up good keep them inspected, it stormed here today with some wind and heavy...
