Going to re-do the back of my trailer.
Kitchen and living area are heated by a Monitor type heater.
Bedrooms and bath and rest of trailer are heated with
a furnace. Going to take the furnace out.
It's pretty old, noisy and takes up space.
Going to move all the pipes inside so heating the underbelly
is not an issue. Hoping to get everything right so
opening and closing the place in winter will not be a major task.
I have another Monitor type kerosene heater in the garage
that I could stick into the bigger bedroom by it seems
overkill. Probably not very efficient.
I was thinking about putting in two small direct vent propane heaters. Some of the models seem quite expensive.
Any suggestions as to model types and the whole
idea in general?
Place will be very well insulated.
The home is a seasonal home so in reality
I can just use electric oil filled space heaters in the bedrooms for the time being. I'm thnking more down the road if I ever intend
to sell the place, plus I need a secondary source of heat if
the kerosene heater does not work for some reason.
Rooms are pretty small, it's only a 12 foot singel wide.

2 monitors will heat that with no problem if you have any insulation, our 20k keeps ours warm. Personally I would still keep an eye open for a furnace, should you want to sell the home it is a selling point and you should be able to find one reasonably priced. Greg
