Our Coleman gas furnace model #7966A856, Serial #098966208 is causing us problems. The furnace pilot light keeps going out when the furnace is changed from heat to air conditioner. We've had our Coleman repair man inspect the furnace, he has replaced the thermal couple and pilot light assembly. He has also completely cleaned the unit. He cannot find anything wrong with the furnace. When weather changes and the furnace is switched from heat to air conditioning and back to heat, the pilot light is out most of the time. We have two mobile homes with this same type of problem. Can you please recomend something that can be done to eliminate this problem.

Hi,

Before you can eliminate it, you have to find what is causing it.

Could be from a back draft from roof-jack, a faulty gas valve to name a couple more.

You'll need a Tech who is determined and experienced enough to locate the problem.

There is a relight module kit for auto relighting of nuicanse pilot outages, but first try and find fault.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert
