Can the plastic bathtubs used in mobile homes be refinished ? Painted ? One of ours is stained from previous owner cauling excessively and the stains won't come off.
Have any of you refinished ?
thanks
Can plastic bathtubs be refinished ?

I think the short answer is no. I have heard of people painting their tubs, but not with lasting success. There is a good refinishing product/service for steel-porcelain and fiberglass tubs, but the plastic has too much flex to it.
