does anyone know of any mortgage companies that will finance land on which you plan to move your mh onto?
Hi
To finance land - around here you would start with the local banks. If this didn't work out you would start talking to local mortgage brokers.
Also a lot of MH dealers around here sell land and MH packages. These dealers have finance info.
Hope this helps.

Aside from the roof leak, soft floors, rats, mice and bursted plumbing ........ how do you like it?
I live in a very rural area. Surprisingly enough, no bank here will finance land only. You can only finance it through the bank if it's a land/home deal.
Also, all banks in this area have completely stopped lending on mobile homes that are to be located in a park. You can only get financing if it's real property. In that case, any bank or mortgage company would work but you may get your best deal at a credit union.

Chiming in from NW WA State. One of the largest CU's in the area will loan on modular homes but not one with a title We have possibly one bank that does MH's. Lending institutions are all different.
We are waiting for final word on our mortgage on a 1978 DW on 2.5 acres. We are not new to mobile homes, but this forum has so much to offer. Thanks.
