replacing furnace in mobile home with heat pump system
I currently have a 22x44 mobile with an oil furnace in it. The furnace is 33 yrs old and in need of replacement. I would like to find out if converting it to a heat pump unit is viable and if I would need to replace the duct work as well. I don't know much about them other than the house we were renting had one and it worked great for both heat and air conditioning. thanks to anyone who can help.
Hi,
That would greatly depend on how cold it gets in winter there. The ductwork should be ok as long as it is in good shape.
Best to get a couple to three contractors to come out and give info and pricing and suggestions for your home and weather.
Thanks for inquiring,
Robert

Some people are Humbly Grateful, while some are Grumbly Hateful.................... Which one are you ?
