Am "camping" in an RV. Have been cooking most things as I would in my beloved MH. Am making escalloped potatoes.
They need a broiler and this RV oven just has flames at the bottom of the oven. Oh, dear....
There is a handy space underneath the heating element, namely, the floor of the oven.
Can I safely put my pan of potatoes on the floor of the oven to brown the tops of the potatoes? Anyone know? Or are my spuds doomed to stay unbrowned?
How's this for way off topic?
Thanks!
Can I use the gas flames in an RV oven as a broiler?
Well, I did try it. Worked just fine. I'm always cautious about open flames.
Thanks Greg.
Thanks Greg.
