Planning on replacing my propane furnace with a Miller electric (have heard that's the best (?), but not sure yet of the size needed for an electric. Propane is 77,000 BTU in, 62,000 BTU out.
Is Miller the best, or what other brand is recommended?
Neighbor just said Miller had a good reputation and was made for mobile homes. Wondering, now, which brand has the best service record.
Is Miller the best, or what other brand is recommended?
Hi,
Because I sell parts for all the major mobile home brands and work on same, I do not recommend one over the other.
They all have their problems and most often the problem lies with the installer as much or more than the brand.
Miller is made by Nordyne and is a good unit.
I suggest finding reputable and experienced contractor/installer and listen to his advice.
Thanks,
Robert
