I had a service tech come out and found a small leak in the a-coil and will have it replaced next week. Is there such a thing as a SEER rating for a-coils, and if so, can you put a 13 seer a-coil in a 10 seer unit?

Hi Mike,

The seer rating is for the condensing unit and you get an a-coil that can meet that seer rating.


We sell a-coils with a seer range of 10 to 13 using a TXV metering device.
