help me please

I have a coleman 7656b seris 856
I dont know whats going on the poilit says on and when i go to turn the heat on it does not turn on it does nothing but the poilit stays on can u help me please i can buy new parts if i got to i need help

Hi,

IF the pilot is burning and flame is at burner as it should be, but the burner is not igniting, need to check from burner back.


Make sure burner is clean and not clogged or rusted out.

Check burner orifice behind gas valve for spider and/or web, they love to get in there and clog up the gas flow.


If both those are ok, then would need a Tech to inspect the gas valve for proper operation.


We have most needed parts so just let me know what you find.

IF it worked fine last year and this is first time checking it this year, the orifice/spider is a good suspect.
