Painting Help!!

Hello,
My wife and I just painted a room in our home and the paint is not "sticking" to the walls. It will just peel off the wall in pieces. We used a good quality Sherwin Williams primer and paint. What could be the problem? How do we fix it????

Sounds like you tried to put latex over oil paint. Got to clean it off and start again. Clean walls with TSP, prime with a primer that will go over oil and is compatable with latex, then paint. A light sanding never hurt before the primer also.
