I recently installed a new Coleman downdraft oil fired furnace. On the plate inside it says the Maximum Outlet Air Temperature is 165 degrees... Where do I put my temperature probe to find out what is the actual Maximum outlet air temperature of my furnace? please elaborate..Thanks bob

Thank you very much...you made my & my wifes day...The closest duct is about 8 feet away ...The max temp. on the plate is 165 degrees & I get 140 degrees from the closest duct. We should be just fine then. Now we will sleep better..Robert wrote:Hi Bob,
At closest supply register, place probe dow in duct airflow.
Thanks,
Robert
Thanks Bob
