I have a 2002 Cavalier Powerhouse and I've noticed that two of my bedroom windows keep popping open - even with the locks set! I've found one in the dining room as well. Any idea why this is happening and how I can keep it from happening?

Hi & welcome. If this is a new problem that has started with the onset of warm weather I would say that the home has shifted from the ground starting to thaw. This is a common problem when the ground freezes and/or thaws.

If the problem continues, I would wait untill the ground thaws & dries out and check the home for being level. Mark, the owner of this site has written a book that covers about any repair problem you may encounter. It is avalable in the "Books & parts" section of the site, and yes it does cover releveling. Hi,

Could you elaborate more on "popping open" even with the locks locked. To my knowledge MH standard windows do not come with locks. Got a pic please of the window in the popped position?
