Hi,
Hope you can help me. Heater is a around a 1991 Intertherm electric model #FEH-020HA-04.
Problem: Low heat temp. Heater Goes through all cycles fine.
Did some tests with meter.
transformer-240v on line side. around 26v on load side
sequencer no call for heat...
h1/h2=0vac
h3/h4=0vac
all m terminals to ground=120vac
m1/m2=240vac
m3/m4=240vac
m5/m6=240vac
m7/m8=240vac
sequencer with call for heat
h1/h2 and h3/h4= around 26vac
m1/m2,m3/m4=0vac
m5/m6 and m7/m8=240vac
this is where I think the problem is. This side of the sequencer is connected to the bottom 2 heat coils the are not coming on. the top 2 coils are on and are connected to the m1/m2 side on the sequencer.
With call for heat top 2 coils read 240vac across terminals
bottom 2 coils read 0 vac
I hope this info helps. So do I need a new sequencer? If so which one.
Also should I replace the 2 Limit Switches? Which part numbers would I need to order?
Thanks for the help
Bob

Hi Bob,
That's the price difference the manufacturer puts on them. Usually older means more $$$ due to shelf time.

Robert
