Hello,
We are getting ready to rip up the carpet in the living area in order to put down laminate. We have the 3/4" Cresex(sp) subfloor. Is there anything that should be done with this type floor before putting down the padding and laminate? We currently do not have any problems with the floor-the home is 6 years old.
Also, the carpet covers where the two parts of the home are joined together. We won't know what it looks like until next weekend when we take up the carpet. Anything to look out for? This joins with the vinyl in the dining area which we will leave in place and laminate over that. Any tips on this?
Thanks. Trying to cover all the bases possible.
Annie

Aside from the roof leak, soft floors, rats, mice and bursted plumbing ........ how do you like it?
