I have a Coleman 7670C856 furnace with a White-Rogers 36C67 valve, type 175. Went to bed last night, it worked, woke up this morning and the blower was running but no heat. Chilly. When I came home I relit the pilot, no problem. When I turned on the heat, the blower kicks on but the burner does not start. i have owned this unit for eight years, and think it is original from 1983.

I assume it is not the thermocouple as the pilot wouldn't stay lit, would it? Do I have to replace the valve or is there something cheaper I should check first?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Tom,

See if you have 24vac at the gas valve. IF so, need to have gas valve tested to see if it is opening and also have gas pressures tested at gas valve.

Thanks,
Robert
