Furnace stopped in middle of night. Checked the thermostat, don't think there's a problem there. No breakers tripped, but I reset them anyway. Still no heat. VERY COLD! Only about 15° outside. Please help!

Never mind my question. With some help from another forum, I discovered the main breaker (at the breaker box) had no power going into it. I had just installed it a few months ago to replace one that was buzzing. At that time, the buzzing breaker had a huge burn spot on it. And again, when replacing the new one (from just a few months ago) I found it had a hole burned into it too. This time I set the new breaker in the slot below the one that was burning the breakers.
