Hi Robert,
Coleman furnace model # 8631-776 has been taking longer and longer to light (last year we had the short cycle problem that you helped so much with); in checking the unit this afternoon, I could hear and physically see the spark; however, it took a long time to light; this evening it wouldn't/won't light at all.
In reading some other posts you said to clean the pilot light and or orifices there; could you detail this? Can I pull the tube off and run a wire through it?
As usual, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Frank
Pilot Won't Light
Hi Frank,
Yes, but very carefully as to not damage anything. Use smaller wire than the opening. Can also use canned air to shoot through pilot tubing, orifice and burner.
Thanks,
Robert
