We have a Coleman Evcon Model EB12b electric and the fan does not shut off until you turn it off at the thermostat. We would appreciate any help.
Thank you!
Blower does not shut off
Hi,
Do both or one of the Heating Elements also stay on ?
If not sure, is the air from registers warmed ?
Scroll the page to locate Sequencer # 3110-3571 @ $24.41.
Click on pic for enlarged view. That's your Sequencer and it is located in middle of back wall of control box.
Set meter for 24 volts/ac and test across the bottom brass terminals H1/H2, one lead on each side.
Then set meter to test for 300+ volts/ac and test across top terminals M1/M2, one lead on each side.
H1/H2 = ?
M1/M2 = ?
Thanks,
Robert

There is warm air at first. This last awhile then cold air starts blowing from vents.
We tested the Sequencer and these are the results:
H1/H2 = 0
M1/M2 = 17
Do we need to purchase a new Sequencer?
In addtion, our second vacation home furnace has a probelm. It is a Coleman Presidential Model 6806-732. Serical number 87204007. Once the furnance gets to temp it shuts off and then restarts within 30 secs to 1 minute. So it is turning on, off, on, off. Can you help us with this?
Kim

Hi Kim,
You should read 240 vac across M1/M2 . That reading makes it possible it is partially closed.
Let it run and when it keeps running, turn off power.
Remove wire (? blue ?) that goes from M2 to terminal 5 of fan relay. Remove from M2 or fan relay #5.
Turn power back on, does blower start and run ?
Turn off power again and replace the wire, then turn power back on. Did blower start and run ?
Below link will allow you to see the Sequencer #3110-3571 @ $24.41 .
Your other furnace sounds like either the sequencer or the contactor. They are at bottom middle front of furnace.
At below link, you can see the sequencer for that furnace (6806-732) also. Sequencer # 6806-3631 @ $101.28 .
That is an old furnace and the parts are no longer made and hard to come by. That is reason for increased cost.

Will post another post seperate with a link to see the contactor.
Thanks,
Robert

Contactor # 6922-3131 near bottom part of page @ $32 .
You would test sequencer same as other one.
On contactor, test those bottom 2 silver terminals on the side for 24 volts.
Remove the top cover over center contacts.
See if the contacts are pulling in and releasing over and over.
See if the side coil terminals go from 0 volts to 24 volts to 0 volts or do they read one reading and remain there.

Take care and best wishes,
