Coleman Presidential III
Model:7975-856
Serial: 028866514

Burner flame is more yellow than blue. I assume it needs cleaning and/or adjustment. I've been reading online about how to adjust, but don't know where to find adjustment.

It's my understanding that there is a gas pressure adjustment and an air shutter adjustment. I'm only looking to adjust the air shutter, if that's correct.

Gas valve model is 36C67 Type 175

Thx so much for any help.

Hi,

Due to safety issues involved here if not done correctly, this is not a recommended DIY type task.

Call an hvac tech to correct the issue. You can inspect the roof jack as that is a top suspect here.

Thanks,
Robert

Okay - and would a blocked air filter and/or dirty burner cause this problem also, or at least contribute?

Thx for getting back today.
